Refund Policy

Sikhay builds custom software to order, so our refund terms reflect quoted, milestone-based work rather than off-the-shelf products. The specifics for any project are set in its written agreement; this is the general policy.

Deposits & milestones

Engagements usually begin with a deposit and are billed against agreed milestones. Each payment covers work already scoped and, in most cases, already underway or delivered.

Before work begins

If you pay a deposit and we have not yet started work, you may request a refund of that deposit, less any time already spent on discovery or scoping.

Work in progress

Once a milestone is underway, fees for work already performed are non-refundable, because the time and effort have been spent. If you cancel mid-milestone, you are billed for work completed up to that point and nothing further (see our cancellation policy).

If something's wrong

If a delivered milestone doesn't meet what we agreed, tell us — we'll fix it. We'd always rather make it right than leave you with something that doesn't work.
